Guess who baked today?¿?¿
Baking a cake is such a chore oh my goodness. So if any of you got a handmade cake as your present or something, appreciate it to like the largest extent please. Before I started I was looking for all the recipes and I was like thinking to myself, "okay lah, seems quite doable & easy" BUT BUT BUT, no shit bro. Making a cake from scratch ain't easy @ all. I've done cupcakes/cookies before but baking a cake is waow a whole new level. One thing I learnt is that, you can't melt chocolates to replace the whipped cream in the middle of the two layers because..... trust me you don't want your knife to break HAHA. Anyway, I was so excited about making the cake and thought it would turn out fine but it looks horrible but tastes really not too bad :-) Here are some pictures!!!
I'll do better the next time!! (if there ever is because this shit is difficult HAHA) Actually the most difficult part of making this cake was the part where you had to place the chocolate (for me) between the two cake layers. I didn't do much research on that before embarking on my 'Cake Expedition' but now that I've researched, if there is ever a next, I'm going to put whipped cream :-) Oh right, to make the two layers, you simply just have to bake a cake and cut in using s really really sharp knife into two VERY VERY PATIENTLY. Yay to off days & yay to learning new things today :')
