Times like this I really want A-levels to end as soon as possible. I mean, who doesn't right? Honestly, I think society demands too much from everyone. Sometimes, some people are just not cut out for education. There's no one size fits all theory. Ultimately, it's dependent on the route you have chose to walk. Truthfully, being told you're not good enough to pursue your passions just sucks sometimes. 

Of course there would be people who would argue that hey, you need a certain amount of qualifications to excel in this certain field. And bullshit that goes like 'passion itself isn't enough' 

The thing is, people need to start realizing that it's passion that drives people, (naturally of course). Other factors such as money would interfere but if one enjoys what he/she is doing, of course the individual would take pride in doing the job well, & good. 

And there are some nights like today, where you need to comfort yourself saying that hey, it's okay that you're not up to societal expectations. It's okay that you're the odd one out. There would be a way out for you, just maybe, not as easy as it should be.
